Public Speaking : Let's Do It

Good public speaking should use the device to get attention. Here’s one that works every time: Almost every presentation I talked, I found an excuse to get someone on stage with me. When an audience member on stage, the entire audience riveted action for the following reasons:

1. They want to see what would happen to one of their own.
2. Son of initiation to be up there.
3. They worry that death may be expected to be up there.

Reasons 1 and 2 are good and reason 3 is not so good. For 1 and 2 of the mentality of an audience member observed that “I want to watch to see what my colleagues or other members of the audience did when they were on stage. No matter how attractive it is as a presenter, not to compete with the enthusiasm generated by someone who is on stage instead of “should” be on stage.

This mentality is different, “I see better what happens if you ask me to go there.” mindset is good too, because it forces the viewer to really think about the point you are trying to do.

For number 3, you want to keep viewers shy or sensitive to the withdrawal of the agenda together by fear that they might be asked to stand in front of everyone. This could be easily removed by withdrawing the following statement:

In a moment I will ask for some volunteers / a to come on stage with me. Do not worry. No one would have to come if you want.

If you have a high percentage of shy audience, you almost feel the wind like a sigh of relief.

Now let us see what things you can do with them after they get on stage. According to a study at the University of Wichita, public recognition is one of the main motivators of people. If you say a “motivational” speaker of some sort, which could be a good idea for you to use your profile is very common, when you speak to give public recognition. I hear good things special audience has done extensive research during the pre-program me.

Here are some ways to use the information you’ll learn:

    * Recognize the sole audience member for a particular achievement, or for a period of high performance.
    * Get to know a group of spectators for a particular achievement, or period of performance.

While on stage a custom visual highlighting achievements or performance (If you can overload the audience or team members after the show. Do not forget to include your company name at the bottom of the visual Many times it would hang on the walls of the organization that will give you free advertising). .

Another reason for an audience member or group on stage is some kind of demonstration. I show a personal space where all cultures. The people who helped me get a good laugh from the audience as we interact.

Try to have planned before the announcement libs are ready to go to a lot of comments or questions to anticipate people on stage. You can also have someone on stage to help you write on the blackboard, overhead change, or blow the horn when someone in the audience makes a good question. Use your imagination.

Every time someone there to help, make sure you give them a kind of gift. One of their products are usually good because it gives the opportunity to speak without using the hard sell. And almost always led the audience in the round of applause for the helper, to return to his seat.
